Dr. Herman has held positions as: VP Marketing of Migdal Group (Israel’s largest group of insurance and financial services and a subsidiary of the European Generali), Senior VP of Dahaf Group (advertising, home shopping TV channel, marketing services and consumer research) and Deputy Director General for Strategy and Research at Bauman-Ber Advertising (Saatchi & Saatchi). He also taught at Bar Ilan University and other institutions of higher education in Israel.

Dr. Herman is often invited to be the keynote speaker at international conferences; he facilitates seminars and workshops, and is frequently interviewed by the media in the various countries in which he is active. He has published dozens of academic and professional articles and e-booklets, and written chapters about his research and innovations for academic publications. Those who quote him, often refer to him as a “guru” of strategy, marketing and branding. He is cited on Google hundreds of times.

Dan Herman has also written three books to date, and his books as well as collections of his articles have been translated into a number of languages and published in several countries. All of his books will be published shortly in the US by Paramount Books.
